More than likely. I just play with it when I'm bored in my room. Though it will more than likely die soon. So meh one less crapsoft in the world.

Keep on pushing, and be patient.

It does? Was I the only one here who noticed these two perps were 18 and 20 years of age? Obviously, one's age is no way to determine one's maturity level. I'm all for getting a PAL if it would make it easier and less costly to get a hold of an AEG or three. Not to mention how it would weed out a lot of idiots (hopefully).

Though I do agree on the clearsoft thing. They ought to be outlawed.

The difference is that at 18 and 20, they are responsible for their own stupidity and will deal with the consequences as adults. They cant ask mommy to cover for them anymore.

Obviously it's better than not age verifying, I know that! (I am going to get around to getting it done too, of course, hopefully sooner than later.) You're very right though, and I hope they will be dealt with to the full extent of the law. I also hope they don't manage to help ruin the sport for those of us who are actually more mature. I'm merely suggesting that something more could be done. A ban on clearsoft would a nice start. And as I said I'd be right up for getting a PAL if it meant an easier/less expensive way to get an actual airsoft gun. Come to think of it though, even if all it did was weed out those people who aren't mature enough, I'd still be up for it. In fact, I think it would go a long way towards improving Ottawa's outlook on airsoft if Canadian players would step up and set a precedent. Or better yet, petition Ottawa for an airsoft specific PAL. I'd sign it.

but where do you draw the line between crapsoft and airsoft? If all the manufacturers decide to go with entirely black bodies (unlikely) it might get hard to tell, other than the difference in price. A ban on clearsoft might evolve into a ban on airsoft entirely, given that soccer moms and politicians can't tell the difference between the two.

PAL for airsoft or a special Airsoft PAL would just be to logical for our government to implement. As for it being cheaper to import if the PAL existed and we could bring them in legally... no they would just tax and tariff the shit out of them, but at least it would be legal.

*EDIT* Also they would want to control each weapon and would therefore require a marking or serial number scheme, but this could be implemented on entry to the country.

*EDIT 2* You don't need to draw a line, if it shoots a projectile above 100fps (or whatever arbitrary number) or looks like a real weapon in any way it's deemed airsoft and you need the PAL.
