BB Opinions Needed!

Anyone know much about Omega BB's? I'm looking into ordering some .20 Omega Black Stealth BB's. Just wondering if they're any good or if it's worth waiting for some Excel's to come in stock.

BB opinions vary.

That being said, my belief is to believe in the Higher End Brand Names:

i.e. Metal Tech, Excel, etc.

Google the brand your considering & check the reviews of other players.

hey just to throw it out instead of making a brand new thread, is there a huge difference in different bb weights? i know the heavier hurts more and shoots farther, but can every gun handle this as some GBB have lower FPS?

Im specifically referring to a Ksc usp .45 (minor upgrades) and ksc g19 (minor upgrades). what would the recommeneded weight bb's be for these?

ive searched everywhere in this forum cant find anything about bb weight and GBB maybe im just stupid tho ... =P

thanks all

bb weight doesn't affect hurting ability, and it only effects distance if there is wind

i have shot ~9,000 BBs and yet to have a problem with PHX bbs and I use a 6.01mm barrel. I also like KSC, toytec and Airsoft elite .2.
If you are shooting over 350FPS than .25g BBs might be a better choice. Heavier weight BBs will be affected less by wind and leaves. This increases accuracy and possibly your effective range.

I have found their service fast and impeccable. But perhaps your question would have been better posted to them before or with your order.

I guess the real answer is, you're about to find out

Strange. I feel a distinct difference between .20s and .28s when I get hit.

That's because there is a difference.

Also, as far as weight to use in GBBs goes, use as heavy as you have available. I've used 0.36g and 0.43g with good success in my upgraded KSC G19 (340fps with 0.20g). Overall I find 0.28g to 0.30 to be ideal for GBB use, and both have much greater useful range than anything lighter.
