Diamond Dust Airsoft & their products

Diamond Dust Airsoft

I bought a CIRAS vest, a throat mic, and a couple other things from them over the last 4 months.

Everything came within 7 days. They have some of the best prices for the quality as far as I've seen. So I'm pretty happy with my new gear.

I might as well write a review of everything here...

CIRAS (replica): I've been carrying 4 M16 mags, Quansheng 5W Radio (1W low setting), M92 handgun, & MSR Waterbag. I weighed the vest and it's coming in at about 14.3 lbs with all my gear.

One thing, the shoulder pad's foam is quite hard. I just flipped the pads so the foam is facing outwards and that's been comfortable.

Throat Mic Headset: works great. Crystal clear incoming and outgoing. Only problem, it doesn't fit on ppl with a thin neck (don't how else to say that), namely, my girlfriend. So...your neck's gotta be pretty tiny for it to not seat right. The website says there's actually two microphones, one on each side of the neck piece, I tested it. For those of you that don't know why that's important, sometimes when you turn your head to the side, one side of the neck piece may lift off your throat and your headset will fail to pickup your voice.

I busted my earpiece (stepped on it while lifting my vest) and I e-mailed them and asked where I could get a new one because they don't sell the parts individually, they mailed me one for free...it took a couple weeks, but, hey, it was free, didn't even charge for shipping.

The PTT switch 'could' be bigger. I've had instances where I couldn't push the PTT switch, but all in all I'm happy with it.

Firefox Lithium Batteries & Charger: crazy batteries...my buddies in Hong Kong tempted me to try out lithium batts...they're amazing...Just as the site says, ROF goes crazy and they last a full day of play...all on about 30-40 mins charge time. My gun has been fine since the switch to lithium, 10+ games, I'll post if I find my gun has any problems due to the battery.

One Point Elastic Rifle Sling: elastic is strong enough to lift most rifles, I use an TM M4, G&P Metal Body, CA SD Front Kit, CA Crane Stock w/ 9.6V Battery. The one problem with these slings is that longer rifles such as M4's with silencers or M16's will hang really low. The sling isn't designed for those rifles. I only use it for my walk back from the field. I find the elastic sling more comfortable while walking with the rifle hanging and it works great for CQB with my MP5K.

Oh, their site has been slow lately and they don't have that many products. I guess those would be my complaints.

CIRAS: as I said earlier, great, no problems. Only a few scuff marks, but no ripped seams or anything.

All in all, great website, great stuff, great service...

I guess you're going for a rookie post record. Do you work for this company. It's your third post where you mention these guy.

As for the review. It is quite possibly the worst review I've ever seen. You don't even mention what products they are. No pics. Nothing. Bravo, 15 posts of pure crap.

I've been reading ASC for a long time now, just never joined. No I do not work for them, I also mentioned other sites in my posts. I happen to travel to Hong Kong a lot and I play with the owners of their partner store, a storefront. I've ordered from them and and have actually had a better time ordering from them than from other websites and so I have no problem to recommend them. I happen to have time to write some posts and I'm sry if I mentioned them too many times for you.

I do mention the products...do I have to put them in bold and underline them? Maybe make the red so you can see them?

It seems you're more busy racking up bs posts. If you don't like my review, just ask for what you wanna know.

I'll work on pics. I don't own a digital camera. I will borrow one. Will that be ok?

What brands? Fit? Adjustability?

It's like saying "I got an AK47 from ASCA. It was good. No problems".

And "dun". Really...

This is a written forum, not MSN. How you write does matter.

And when you do a review, being descriptive helps. Adding a link to the company you are reviewing makes sense too. You should have done that already, someone else did it for you.

Maybe you have an easy time importing stuff from overseas, but that can vary greatly depending on what you order. The last thing you want is be noticed by CBSA.

As you'll come to learn, around here, people don't take you seriously when you can't string a proper sentence together. If you write like a 13-year-old, you get treated like a 13 year old. If you can't/won't take the time or effort to check your own grammar and spelling, why should I make any effort to even read your posts? If you can't show me the basic respect to even TRY to communicate clearly, my attitude is that I'm not going to waste my time trying to help you out.

It's not just my attitude. There are a LOT of experienced players who have the same opinion.

It's only fair to give you the heads-up.

Give the guy a break he said english isn't his first language.

Atleast he tried to write a review on something.

People are to harsh to jump to conclusions when a person with no age verification under there name.

Don't put them down publicly send them a pm first so the person has a fighting chance and explain himself.

If you have something against people with no age verification then bring it up with the mods or even Miles to change the format of the site so only age verified people can post.

Man people are to quick to judge people on this site , especialy you Greylocks.

Even if he is a minor not like he did a review on a gun or that he purchased a gun it's gear.

hey look I have spelling mistakes does that make me not worth reading if so then don't read anything i write.

It's ok if english is not your first language. But there is a difference between some spelling errors (which happen), or dyslexia issues, and MSN talk. See what I mean?

If your first language is french, you can use it here.

The primary issue here is that your review was not descriptive, and did not provide a link to what you were referring to.

That would depend, but I will answer your question respectfully anyway, even though your question itself has it's own share of issues.

If you actually showed me enough respect to try and communicate clearly and made a couple of spelling/grammar mistakes, then I would try and help anyway, as I can recognize effort.

If your language issues were due to the fact that you were too lazy, ignorant, or disrespectful to even try to put a proper sentence together, I would choose to ignore you, even though I might have the answer to your questions.

The fact is, many browsers have add-ons that spell check for you. There is no legitimate reason I can think of (other than inability to actually speak/read/write our official languages proficiently) that I have to sit back and accept someone else's butchery of the language. For those of us who were born in this country, poor grammar, spelling, and punctuation on the internet comes down to laziness, ignorance, or disrespect.

Maybe I am Lazzy, Ignorant, or even disrespectfull or maybe evenan asshole sometime this does not give me the right to tell people how to write maybe some of us have spelling mistake and maybe some of us are not computer savy like other and maybe some of us just don't want to use a spell checker.
and maybe some of use don't have the education like some spoonfed people.
I write like i write if you don't like it F*** O**.

Jean. There is a big difference in what we're saying.

If you do not speak the language, mistakes will happen. (It will become better with practice and time).
If you do not have the education, mistakes will happen. (But that can be changed with time too, with courses and practice).
If you have a disability, mistakes will happen no matter what.

All of those are easy to spot and it's ok, because it happens. Those kinds of mistakes are ignored because they are not the same thing at all.

What is not OK is using short codes like U for You, Cuz for Because. That is no longer an honest mistake, that IS being lazy.

It's like if you were to make spelling mistakes on purpose. That would not be the same as normal mistakes, see?
And if english is a problem, the person can always try in french? Or almost any other language? Someone here is bound to know it.

As was said by Skruface, writing like a kid is far from the same as making normal errors.

Grey this is how I see it people jump in and freak out when a noob does a mistake. If it's a bad one the ya go ahead and bash away but something like spelling come on take the pickle out of your ass and suck it up.

Yes I speak french Grey and no it's not my first language, I have a high school diploma, and I even make mistakes.

All I have to say is lay off the noobs for a while specialy on petty things like this.

Well, if you click on the blue text, you'll find the item he's talking about.

As for CBSA, nothing here is black listed, nor is he trying to discuss items that are generally not black listed.

As for the MSN speak, I don't see any of that here.

Sure, there are some holes in his review, lack of some info and such as well no one knows who he is or if he is or is not attached to this company. But that doesn't warrent releasing the kill-bot.
