Aside from the windows, you also have the issue of sound. You'd have to make sure the areas you'd be playing in are more or less sound proof or away from the outside of the school where other people could hear shouting and firing. I don't know it all just seems a bit too risky to me. I guess your best bet is to talk to the people who were at that Operation Hall Pass game.

Sound wouldn't be a problem.

Have you ever stood outside a busy school in the morning? When everyone is screaming and yelling inside?

You can't hear shit. In airsoft, you won't hear the guns at all, and screams of agony when a tooth goes wouldn't be heard either - may just sound like a volleyball tourney, etc.

Anyway..

Have you ever walked by a school on a weekend when there's no one around and a tournament going on inside? Some schools aren't completely soundproof. Plus airsoft doesn't sound the same as a volleyball game for obvious reasons. Maybe people wont be able to tell the difference but what if there's someone can? All it takes is one person to ruin things.

Dont get me wrong I would LOVE to have another place to play at here. I would just like to make sure that proper precautions are taken. If sound isn't an issue then that's perfect!

Get a couple cops to sit outside the place... like night clubs do. THere is no way you could do this without the cops, city and school board knowing. Not to mention local residents should be informed as to time/date.

Local residents? What if they are the traditional high-school moron who, upon hearing about airsoft immediately thinks of driving around shooting people? That would be worse than having one person discover it by accident as far as i can see it. Not saying that isn't the responsible thing to do though.

I would agree with the cops, city and school board part, but I don't think resident is necessary since we're not exactly interupting their daily activities.

But damn, it is an AWESOME idea if you could get it to work.

Having cops sit outside WILL attract jackasses.

Cops are jackass magnets.

EX)
"OMFG!!1111 T43R3 1$ $0|\/|3T41|\|9 $(_)p3r 1337 (_)p 1|\| d@ $k001!!!111"
Oh my! There is something supper awesome happening in the school!

Police:
Hey, what's that kid doing?
Ah, nothing, just taking a peek. Nothing wrong with that

"OMFG!!!111 t3y 4@\/3 $(_)p3r 1337 9(_)|\|$!!!!111111"
Oh my! They have super awesome guns!

Police:
What are they screaming about? Kids.
Hey wait... where are they going, ah, just going home.

"OMFG!!!!1111 1 90t$ 2 90 93t$ d@d1e'$ $(_)p3r 1337 $40t9(_)|\|!!!!1111"
Oh my! I have to go get my father's super awesome shotgun!

And on, school shootout, etc, kids get shot while trying to save the world from airsofters and show them their dad's gun is better, etc, police gets shot at, bad media, etc.

I would go on, but I can't type leet anymore.... that took me a HALF HOUR.

EDIT - I can't read it either, don't feel bad - or proud. I'll translate... It is a bad story/example, because I cut it down. It's hard to type like that. Basically saying that the kids are following a bad example, because they are uninformed of the situation and are attracted to it by the police. Just like a car accident or a drunk getting arrested.

If they don't know what's happening, worst case situation, they could try to become a super 1337 vigalanty, just like the movies.

Gato, Awesome idea. That would definately be good. Even if he just sat outside in his car accross the street watching traffic and the building. As long as the guy isn't patrolling....

Anyway, I am in no way against this. I think if it could be found, a place, it would be awesome. As long as teachers/key holders were informed, it could be a great day.

+1 for Kid for being able to type like that. I can't even read it. I don't even want to try.

As for the school, Yes, it would be incredibly uber and sweet, but would most likely attract more bad attention than anything.

This sounds uber awsome but i wouldn't think there would be a problem if you informed the authorities and whoever else i mean a cop or two might be able to sit in the office with all doors exept front and emergency ( whitch don't open from the outside anyway) locked and have the emergency doors marked to keep anyone from accidently going through them

Man, CQB in my old school would kick sooo much ass.
http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&hl=en...8,0.021629&t=h

4 wings, 2 of which have 3 floors and a basement, 2 gyms. Everything can be accessed without going outside. Mmmmm.

PS
Viceprinciple The Dick never returned our football. We were just playing inside 'cause it was raining. What would he rather have us do? Smoke? Dick.
