When we had the local field really going a couple of years ago, I only sold TM .2 and .25's and we never had any issues.

Ran TM bb's in our rental guns, guy's used em them their springers, gbb's, higher fps nbb's and AEG's w/ICS/TM/CA/Other hi-caps and all sorts of internal upgrades...never any issues!

We've since switched to Excel because we are able to get them a little cheaper and still don't have problems...but I've always just loved the TM bb's and the guy's still ask for them occasionally.

I use guarder BBs as I have an easy ressupply source at an excellent price and they give out excellent performance in all but one of my guns...but she is particular in what she likes so I feed her what she demands (excel .2g, not .25g but only excel .2 anything else jams and bitches around...go figure)...

TM BBs are a bit more expensive than most other brands, that's the main reason why.

As mentioned already, and from personal experience, these are great quality BBs. They're around the same size as Excel BBs, but more concentric and just as smooth finish (if not smoother.)

The only thing that I think they really fail at is crush tests... they will shatter. At least they don't crumble...

Excel's 0.2's and 25's jammed in my buddies and my gun. I stick to Airsoft Elite. No problems have occured. Havnt had any problems with guarder or KSC yet either.

i only use airsoft elite .25g mostly. they will not shatter even in pliers where most others do, but rather just deform. ae says they are "gauranteed" to be 5.98mm and ive never had a problem. i've tried huricanne, excel and some other brands i can't remember but the excels were the worst. they had breakages and jamming all the time in stock guns and i just threw out the bag while still over half full. hurricanes were better but the "cocaine" (ie shatter) in my higher powered units. some guys bought tm bb's last year in a group order and everybody loved them. i've never tried them as i get ae's for dirt cheap.

I have acutally sold the high grade KSC .20 and .25g for the past couple of years now, and not once, have I ever heard of any kind of problem either from the 1000's of bags to customers sold, or even our own club members who use them. Also, the ones I have come with 4000 rds/bag, so you get a little more too. Never personally done testing on BB's, but I have never had a problem! If your into testing BB quality there mcguyver, then drop me a PM. I will send you a bag of my KSC for you to run some tests on. I would be curious as to how they stand up to others you have tested!

it's tough to test the consistancy of diameter without spending some time with a micrometer and lots of bb's. however a good and simple test is to take a bb between the jaws of a set of pliers and apply some pressure to see what happens. try it with a few different brands at the same time and observe the results. some may fracture in large pieces, some may basically turn to powder and some may not break but dent and deform. i would opt to use the ones that don't break at all. another not so scientific test is put a bb in your mouth and suck on it like a candy. sounds rediculous, but some bb's i've used have a coating on them that makes them smooth, rather than being precision ground. this coating will come off very quickly and sometimes you can feel casting seams. i wouldn't use bb's that do this as they are cast rather than ground and this may be a source of problems. if i'm not mistaken, ksc is supposed to have the equipment to do precision grinding, or so i've heard. this should make for the best bb's. basically i would avoid cast bb's (some you can readily see the seams on) and stick to precision ground bb's. it seems dumb that guys would invest in an aeg, spend tons upgrading it and use crappy bb's. it's like buying a ferrari and putting regular unleaded in it. i say stick to quality bb's and your pretty much gauranteed not to have problems.

I've got a small baggie left of TM .2g BB's, never had a problem with them, even using non-lubed G&P mags.

I use TM BBs all the time, one problem what so ever. Except one time I found a deformed BB, but I took that out and it was all good.

Since this thread seems fairly related, has anyone used PRECISION bb's? What's your experience been with them?

How come TM BBs feel greasy/slippery? Or are all good quality BBs like that? And do I absolutely have to lube the BBs? If i do then what do I use?
