Airsoft CQB Field kitchener

Hey guys

I have been considering opening an indoor airsoft only field in the kW area about 5000 sqft. Now what I would like to know is how many people would be interested in playing, how often a week would you play and what would you like to see(structure and layout wise). There would possibly be a store front too.

I don't know why no one is responding. There's a pretty healthy community of airsofters in the KW and surrounding areas, and I think we're badly in need of a good indoor CQB arena that isn't located in Toronto.

At the moment, we have Flag Raiders indoors, which is honestly pretty nice, but it does have its shortcomings (paint jizz everywhere, relatively small). So an airsoft only venue would be great.

As far as layout goes, I would point you to YouTube and the many videos of various awesome indoor arenas in the States and Europe. Lots of structures, "mazes" and the like are pretty great. Bonus if there are multiple floors involved.

I find UA and lacks innovation. They can't really change much since it's a very small location.

The other CQB areas that are located in the vacinty are mixed with paintball, and quite frankly no one wants paint on their gear.

I'm downtown but would come out here and there if the field is worth it, and I'm sure others would be too. Price of course would be a factor aswell!

There's another recent thread that had some pointers:

Biggest key is to be able to change the layout frequently. People get bored fast, once they learn the choke points and what works/doesn't work.

I've been running out of a smaller space for 8 years. for a small space the key is CHANGE at TTAC3 I created Reconfigurable Wall Segments , with them we can set up nearly any configuration desired.

Every time the setup is different. Also with a small space you will be running short sharp engagements with fast turn around times. You have to be on top of your players.. or a lot of time can be wasted.

Also.. keep in mind this kind of play does not appeal to the majority of players, but those who like hard fighting, and close combat love it and will keep coming out.
