You can buy a rig here and add an "in line" thatll be your seccond regulator.
Less then 300 bucks.
You can run it without the seccond regulator its just a preference of mine to have two.
In that case itll be less then 200.
If you want small you can get the ones that run off 12gr co2

That would be me! The rig works great, couldn't be happier with my setup or your customer service.

Best part is if there is ever an issue with it, I can hit up FS to trouble shoot it vs the possibility of sending it away to Palmer if I had gone that route.
Shawn knows his stuff. Only took him a few days to figure it out for my needs.

PolarStar Fusion Engines are nice and all, but WAY too pricey for a bolt action sniper. If it were a AEG, then yeah, I totally would look into it. Anyway, I just need the regulator, the rest I can do on my own, aside from the drilling/tapping of the magazines.

Thanks for all the help guys!

The fusion engine is a "gearbox" type thing. Youd need a gun that alrdy has a gearbox v2 in it.
As for "way too expensive for a basr" i think we have mentiond this befor but ill repeat it. Building a good (read consistant and viable) sniper rifle is among the most expensive in airsoft guns. Meaning you can get an aeg for a few hundred bucks and put 50 bucks into a barrel and hop rubber and comepte with the best guns on the field.
A bolt action will cost 2-400 for the gun then take 500-1000 bucks worth the upgrades to buiod it to a good platform.
Example
TM VSR 10 3-600
Laylax piston. 100
Laylax cylender100
Laylax hop up. 100
Cylender head 50
Sorbo. 25
Spring guide. 30
Barel spacers. 40
Sears. 50
Spring. 40
Inner barrel. 80
Scope. 100-200 minimum and up to 1000 easily
Bipod. 50-150
And thats a basic build regardless of what gun u start with
Sometimes itll coke with a cheap scope and bipod so you can get away without buying right away the bipod will be fine but the scope will need replacement for sure therer are other things too but those are the cheapest way. Ie you could go laylax zero trigger and piston for 250-300 and substitute the piston a sears with that.
Plus hours of labor snd tuning to get it just right.

Alot of fields arnt gonna let you run your hpa sniper because your fps is so easily adjustable. You are not a well known player, i assume, so therefore are subject to some strict rules depending where u play.

I dont even bring my gas sniper out as the line for misunderstanding is easily crossed, a he said she felt argument coud have a bad outcome. Also whats your hunting skil like? Can you accuratley range find?

Now im not raining on your parade, just a heads up before you dump money into the rig.

And check ebay for used pb equip its readily avl, and cheap.

Already contacted the owner of the field I play at, he said it's alright with him and even suggested brands of regulators to look at.
And I know the PSF unit is a gearbox, I looked at it already.

As far as gear goes, I have everything I need to play. Had it for seven years. I may be just another face in the crowd but I'm not an idiot who breaks the rules. Not to mention I've been asked by a company to head a team they want to sponsor I think that should show some credibility on my behalf. Not that anyone on here knows me anyway so that really means nothing...

As for other fields, I don't even know where else to go other than Adrenaline, so right now I'm not concerned about it.

Thanks for your suggestion, though.

Lol why would you WANT to run HPA instead of a spring in a bolt action?
Spring is way more consistent than gas could ever be, and its possible to make it just as quiet too

Well my background was orig paintball so hpa makes sense when you think about it and a solid hpa setup will run you very consistent, maybe not in cold weather but as I hibernate to a chair in the colder months no biggy. Plus I had a spring it was fun but a no resistance bolt pull is awesome I must say.

I chose a gas bolt action over spring because I didn't want to have to fight with the bolt to pull it back. I don't have a lot of upper body strength, so I liked the idea of having a no-resistance bolt. I played and still play paintball, so I have two HPA tanks, a 48ci 3000psi tank for my paintball marker, and I purchased a 13ci 3000psi one for my Milsig for magazine usage, but never actually got around to utilizing it. So I'm using the 13ci tank for the G96. And even in cold weather it'll be more consistent than CO2 or Propane. Granted, a spring powered rifle will be more consistent, but unless you have the strength to pull the upgraded bolt back, it's hard to accomplish.

A properly tuned sniper rifle, with a 450fps spring, is not difficult to pull. Even the 500fps spring is easy. The spring that shot 530+ on 36's was tough!

what FPS are you guys shooting at? Since you're running gas, it won't be recognized as being able to shoot as a BA at level 2 if you are qualified which neither of you are currently so the max possibly allowable would be 450fps and some fields at 400fps.

If the field allows you to run hot then I know a lot of people would veto it before the start of a game.

Neither did I when I got mine. Guess what I did about it?

I actually had a hard time LIFTING a G&P 249 when first bought mine, now I'm curling 45lbs on each scrawny arm lol
