Fixed for easily assimilable cognitive comparative.

G&G guns still cost more than they're worth in Canada, and you can get better for equivalent prices. Like this: https://www.buyairsoft.ca/rifles/ele...4-ebr-max.html $1,000 for a G&G M14? Yea, keep dreaming Buyairsoft.
I own a G&G m16 combat machine, (cansoft lower) that I bought 2 years ago on buyairsoft, for back then the price and bang for the buck that I got was amazing. Since put 6'000Bb give or take through it. And still runs like a champ. Impressive external also... (except for lower receiver)

If I would slap a TB barrel and a better hop up rubber on her she would be a beast for what I paid for...

+1. I don't quite understand how come they still maintain such a overprice strategies under the present circumstances, especially other retailers e.g. Revolutionairsoft, Torontoairsoft, are having a much more reasonably price level for their products.

Because search engine optimization, good branding, and high resolution photography works. There is a reason Evike and Airsplat are pulling many 10s of millions of dollars in sales every year. They understand marketing to young people in the 21st century. YouTube, Google search results, a solid website with pictures, etc.

RA and TA are without a doubt superior stores with either superior prices or service, but BuyAirsoft has the two words most likely to appear in the google search term "where to buy airsoft guns", or "buy airsoft guns canada", etc.

Another way to short circuit these things is to buy Google AdWords, which Toronto Airsoft is doing, which is why you'll often be searching for something they don't even offer -- or searching for one of their competitor's stores -- and see their company in the sponsored section of the result.

But in the end, the big pictures and videos likely beat everything else.

There are some Combat Machines for sale in Toronto, but not in large numbers.

Also, G&G's low-to-mid-range mechboxes appear in AEGs not sold as G&G. SOCOM Gear's PWS series, the Umarex MP5s, etc. The PWS Diablo has G&G's GR16 mechbox in it. A gun which at the time that I purchased it had virtually identical internals (mechbox, motor) and externals (crane stock, reciever, etc) as guns selling for 3 times less in the USA.

Knowing what I know about the winds of change with respect to prices in this country, I'd avoid G&G in Canada until their prices come down by at least 30-50%.

I think seeing G&G come done 50% is not ever going to happen. That is a deep gouge. I know there is a new line coming that mimics G&G Max line without the max price. The guns are apperantly identicle in everyway.

With the recent big changes, including the new 366FPS, I won't say 50% price cut is not impossible. Let's us be a smart airsoft consumer and only purchase fro retailers with reasonable price.

Even in the US G&G guns are pretty expensive.

I got the KA M4 at the end of last summer for $300. It is an ok gun. The externals don't even come close to my G&G MAX CQBR which I think I got for in the high $500s. The G&G MAX was my first gun and I don't regret the higher price. It has performed well and the exterior has held up. The KA hasn't been gamed yet but the finish on it is really poor in comparison and is already wearing off in some spots from handling.

If you aren't in a hurry, I would wait to see where prices go. Hopefully they keep the MAX line in Canada.

My first aeg was a g&g cansoft m4 cqd. It has served me well. Had a piston head fail but other than that it has been good to me. My second aeg was something I got used being told it was "upgraded" and had a king arms metal body. Well after fixing stuff on it I can say it started out life as a m16 g&g cansoft and now sports a KA lower receiver. The upper is still a g&g. My 3rd aeg ended up being a g&g too. Got a cqb-s max used here on asc for an ok price. Not gamed it yet but the build on it seems good. I think I'll put my spare ascu in it sometime in the near future. Would I buy another g&g? Sure. Would I buy any other brands? Sure. Would I buy from buyairsoft? Not with my money. Too much there. If I were to get another aeg tomorrow. The $300'ish king arms m4 it would be...

The one big thing that has always bothered me about G&G halfbreeds is that their price point is usually within a C-note of full metal equivalents. Some of the newer ones are better internally -when they first came on the scene they were pretty inferior overall (CA sportline & ICS clear kind of shitty).

I honestly have zero idea why anyone buys a halfbreed. They're so close in price and I have NEVER seen a clear plastic body that is even remotely close to what I'd describe as durable. I have a halfbreed KWA G36 (won it in a draw, didn't buy it) the internals are excellent but the body is complete crap. A friend has a G&G halfbreed M4 and same story.. decent internals, body is horrid. The compromise isn't worth the extra $100 it's going to cost for a FMU equivalent.

Oh, that and the whole "Canadian Legal" marketing term used with the halfbreeds is such a complete load of bullshit I refuse to touch them on principle alone.

I like the G&G max line. Good guns...no great guns. But I am looking forward to buying from the new line that has the G&G MAX quality, just not the MAX price. Hopefully getting one soon. It identical parts but the M4 i think floats around $499 or $500. Full metal body and all the internal upgrades.

Got to agree with ya on that one. I have an ICS painted plastic. Although I cant complain about it, makes a great loner or rental, just not the same

Airsoft prices in Canada are going through a dramatic change at the moment so I don't know if you'll get the same deals in the classifieds as you used to. Check out www.revolutionairsoft.com they are getting a huge selection of guns in the next week or two and their prices will be the best around. I'm not an expert but if you value a good quality gun out of the box then it's absolutely worth it to spend a bit more up front and get something better than G&G. I just bought a KWA M4 and it's top notch.
I dont think their is going to be a dramactic change in the higher quality guns. They manfacturor is not going to drop their prices on parts and labour because we dropped our fps. What we will see are new retailers loading up on more junk because it is cheaper to sell. This may bring down prices a bit on the higher end guns but they are not direct competition. To say a G&G Max should be as cheap as a KWA i dont think is realistic. Their may be a price drop in G&G mid to lower level stuff to compete with the under $300 market. According the the quoted site above all their guns come with an orange tip. No i think i will pass on the orange tip

G&g mp5 sd6

I bought my G&G MP5 SD6 from buyairsoft last year for just over $300 and now it's like $378. The gun is pretty good, nice battery, metal body, good ROF. I had a spring bust in the mag before I even got to use it but I sent it back and they fixed it.

I think I got a pretty good deal on it but I wouldn't pay close to $400 for it now.
