Do a search, I know there is information on that here. You can fill out a form with the Canadian Border Agency I believe.

Getting it there is relatively easy as long as you have an orange muzzle. Some guns (GBBRs) aren't allowed by BATF, however. There may also be issues with unlicensed trademarks.

Trying to brnig your gun back into Canada is going to be a whole different story.

If you are wanting to play in the USA, come to North Texas. I will loan you my backup M4 and together we can kick Jackass.
In alot of places in the USA there are people and places that rent guns for an OP.
PM me if you are serious. Good luck.

It is possible to bring your own gun back after playing in the states you just have to have the right paper work from the cbsa, I have done this personally when my team and I went to FT Drum New York to play at OP Pine Plains, 8 of us had no problems.

Its all about knowing what your doing. To bring the gun back there is info on how to in the Age Verified section. Until you are Age Verified, to get that info your on your own though.

I did a write up on this, but its in an AV'd part of the forum, so I figure I can't really talk about it here.

It is possible (legally).

@Drake, there is no issue with trademarks since they are only temporary imports. Trademarks only become an issue if the gun is being moved permanently down there.

It'd still be a good idea to cover it up with some silly putty or electrical tape or whatever though. You never know you might get some trouble for having trades on them, better safe than sorry especially when US customs/immigration can pretty much make you disappear and have pretty much absolute power over you.

My information comes direct from CBP (Customs, Boarder Patrol).

Can I ask you a serious question? How much sand can you fit in your vagina?

Orange muzzle will get you into the U.S.. To get your gun back is actually not that complicated. First off your gun must have a distinct serial # on the outside. It must be clear and visible. There is a form (I can't remember what it's called). You fill it out, and the border fills it out. Your gun must come back the exact same as it went down. Keep the form in with the gun, and carry your gun in a proper case. Phone the CBSA for details.

you are about 50% correct
Orange muzzle is only required for public display(aka on the field) and sale but thats arguing over semantics.

Your gun DOES NOT have to have a serial number. if it does they mark it down, if it does not they give you a sticker which usually goes on the stock tube or inside the mag well.

the form is called a Y38, which if I remember correctly they mark down where on the gun the serial number/ sticker is.

otherwise you are right

The reason I said orange muzzle is that is a requirement in some states. Every state has it own Airsoft regulations, and I cannot remember the rules for them all. On that note it wouldn't hurt to check them out before heading south.
