Yes. There is a place where you can get a TM VSR-10.
But first, get Age-Verified. Forum rules say that we can't tell you where to get guns unless you are.

Will do, messaged my local rep just after I signed up. Thanks for the quick reply!

I have an m4 gifted to me used but it has a bb feeding issue I'll look into it another time. But I thought it might be good to have guns for different ranges.

Edit: Also whats this news about sniper certified and stuff?

It refers to courses run by community members which teach people how to 'snipe' in airsoft safely and effectively.

It's not something you need to do to use a stock sniper rifle at a game, but usage of high-powered upgraded ones requires skill and attention to player safety.
Playing a true sniper role in game is also much more difficult than you'd think.

Everyone will roll in shortly and tell you all about how expensive it is to make a bolt-action springer run better than an AEG and how frustrating it is to jump right into that style of play and be out-gunned. They are right.
But I'd offer that you should run the gun you like and go for it, but only if you can afford to get an AEG to fall back on or another suitable backup.

Make some airsoft buddies and/ or rent for your first games and see what you really like to use before you invest. PS: have fun!

Yeah I've just been spending the past couple hours lurking on the forums finding checking rules n stuff. I respect that airsoft community is pretty clear about what to start out as. I was planning on getting more airsoft guns throughout the year maybe some AEGs once I get verified... Seems hard to be signed in from vancouver

Who wants to cyb... er verify me

It's not that people are telling you what to do, there's just a lot of 'been there done that' going on. When a hobby is as involved and potentially expensive as this one it can be discouraging as a new guy to get in knee deep and realize that you need to turn around and start over.

There is, however, a wealth of information on these forums that can help you avoid a great deal of that trial and error.

I'm a bit jealous that you're in BC; the terrain is a little more varied out there than Manitoba.

Go to Airsoft Gear in Richmond. The owner there is also one of the AV reps in Vancouver (ask for Optix/Julian). He's in and out sometimes but go down anyways and check things out. The staff there can provide a lot of info if you have questions.

Also, one or two of the other staff there are admins for Op-For and can Verify you for the Op-For forums and usually activate you the day of or in a few days as opposed to ASC where it's every week or two weeks that an AV batch goes through.

Would it be mean to assume the terrain is... Flat? hahaha. But yeah I get what you're saying. I'm glad I joined the forums though, first time doing something like this.

Edit: Ah sweet thanks latency, I was actually going to go to airsoft gear this weekend.

They don't have a large selection of guns at the moment but supposedly more is coming on the way in the next couple of weeks.

They don't have TM VSR or L96's but they do have the Echo1 clones and at very reasonable prices too.

Ah okay, I still haven't quite made up my mind on what to get. So we'll see. but Echo1 seems to have decent reputation lately so I'll give it a gander.
