Have you tried contacting Realsword? They're pretty good with this sort of thing...

Just emailed them, hopefully I can get a grip somewhere... I read in some other article that the grips are almost completely incompatible with any other brand

I heard Dboys grips fit, although I can't confirm that personally

is the crack not repairable? Glue-and-screw?

That should give it some character

Go borrow some different grips and see if they fit.

There are some grips that work or can be made to work with some shimming.

I tried a CYMA AK74U grip on mine and I'm pretty sure with some shimming it would fit.

I'd like to put some LCT grips on mine, but I don't have any to check with.

***also, report back. I'm interested to know if real sword supplies them and what they charge. I'd like to get some backups. Real sword might also be able to tell you what brands they're compatible with.

Id really like to get a wood grip to replace it... having a composite grip will ruin the look

Depending on how bad the crack is, I'd possibly leave it. It IS an AK after all.
