Just a few questions

Hey, I'm new here (and to the sport ) and I have four questions to ask you:

1) Will dry-firing a gas pistol break/damage it?

2) What are your thoughts on Buyairsoft.ca?

3) Where is a good place to buy Airsoft Apparel (vests, ghillie, pants, etc.)?

4) I can't decide between buying a G&G SCAR Light, a G&G M4 Commando/CQB-S or a G&G L300, can you help me decide?

Sorry if these are really newbie questions, or if I sound stupid .

Thanks,

-Sean

dry fire AEG is not good, but gas guns dont care

your choice of gun, they are all the same brand so quality should be comparable, whatever one you like most

Thanks for the speedy reply! As for buyairsoft, may I ask why it's bad? Also are there any other stores in Canada that are better?

cant really tell you unless you're sge verified on the site, and most sites wont sell to you unless you are AVed or have proof of age of majority

buyairsoft scams, sells inferior product, and is just "not good" in every concievable way

Oh, but how can it be an inferior product if they're selling other companies' guns?

If you are 18 years old, your best bet is to get a hold of your local age verifier. Once AV'd you'll gain access to our classifieds for better quality airsoft for around the same price point as Buyairsoft. Fill out your location profile, guys on here can help you more easily and better if we all knew where you're from.

There are at least six other online airsoft retailers that I can think of off the top of my head, any of which is better than buyairsoft. They have improved their service in the last while but as the saying goes you can polish a turd but its still a piece of shit.

Eh.... buyairsoft is trying to turn it around according to a staff member that lives in the same city they operate in on this site but IMO they still have a long way to go.

Secondly, dryfiring will add unnecessary wear to a GBB.

Apparel can be found at your local surplus store or from the non AV gear classifieds.

I can't tell you which one is better since I have no clue about them, however I can say that the general consensus (yeah I'm drinking the koolaid) is that they're a decent brand but for a little more you can get much better.

Well, alrighty, I was going to get age verified shortly . But none of you have really given me any answers to why buyairsoft isn't good, you've just said it's bad :S.

Its overpriced shit that is marketed to 'underage' players. Since BuyAirsoft is so gung ho about it most of the community here are pretty bitter about them.

Besides, you can get much better guns through our private retailers for a better price. Dont waste your money on their shit.

I see, well I'm interested in those three guns specifically, so if there is someplace else I can find them cheaper, I'm in!

There are places you can get them with better pricing, but has been stated, we won't tell you until you get age verified.
We'd love to help you, but the rules of this site are here for a reason, and we're all going to abide by them.
Find an age verifier near you, get AV'd and let the world of possibilities open up for you!

1. Dry firing causes unnecessary wear on internals and may lead to breakage.

2. Indifferent. The company has a spotted past but I will let their future actions influence my opinion.

3. There are lots of reputable online retailers. Since you neglected to list your location in your profile I cannot recommend any walk in retail stores.

4.Internally they should all be essentially identical internal wise. At least all the armalite variations and the scar at least, they all run off of a version 2 style mechbox. All you really need to decide is how you want your airsoft gun to look.
G&G isnt a terrible brand but the money can definitely be invested in something better.

Is there not like four levels of quality of G&G guns, (combat machine) being the low end junk and the (top tech) being the best of what G&G has to offer.

Or something to that effect. I dont really remember the quality levels of G&G.
