I need to get some mags.

I am looking to buy these ones:

are they any good? I have a G&P SpecOps M4.

Good mags. I have about 20 of them. Never had any fail, and never had a malfunction that couldn't be cured with a couple of drops of silicone oil.

I have 12 KA M4 mags that all work perfectly in my M4. They feed well and are very sturdy with a great look and feel.

Some users have noted that there can be feeding issues with KA brand M4 magazines but the issue is remedied by slight filing of the mag feeder. I have not experienced any issues myself but a small amount of people have.

filing the top of the round part where the BB goes in you mean? so the mag fit deeper in the magwell?

ok, anyway, I'll order them, we'll see if I have problems with them.

thanks!

no, the tab that holds the bb's in. basically, it does retract enough when inserted into the mag well

This seems to be an issue with their 120 rnd midcaps more than their 68 rnd low caps. Not sure of the reason for this exactly, but it seems to be the case for the most part.

I believe its all depend on whether or no pie is available in the staff room that day.

Yep, airsoft parts is an amazing retailer and my first choice always. Just wish they would stock MP5 handguards..

Anyways those King Arms Magazines will impress you. If you got the plastic ones, it's a shame they even call them plastic. They are extremely sturdy and when i had my spr i had the VN Mags. With a slight slight cut to the mag retention lip, they fed flawlessly 100% of the time. They really are the best midcaps out there.

well I ordered the lowcap 68 rounders, not the 100 - 110 rounders midcaps. And they say metal. anyways, I already have a hicap and a midcap, and I'm not too hungry on ammo. on my last game I didnt even went through half of the hicap lol. these will just be a safety buffer in case I ever need them.

I cant wait to receive the TM MEU mags I ordered too, as the army armament mag I have sucks big time. the BB loader I ordered with the rest will be a great asset too. Loading a hicap without one is a piece of cake... but the midcap and lowcaps are a pain in the ass to load a BB at a time!!! lol.

Yep. Speed loaders are your friend! I can vouch for my year old pristine condition King Arms speed loader as well. Never failed me!

The mags are great. If you get them from airsoftparts, they may have even filed the feed lips back a bit for you already! I've got 10 of these mags and they work great and are just the right capacity. They also have removable floor plates which is a huge bonus if you want to put ranger pulls on them.

Known Feeding Issues with G&P and Guarder metal bodies.
As posted above, there are modifications and fixes for it.

Other than that, they are great.

They also don't feed well in CA bodies. Interestingly enough, however, I had some old ones that fed fine. They must have changed the design in their mags.
