You can never have complete kit, there is always little something you "miss"

I think I 've dumped in roughly 20k till now... kinda scary to think about invest 20k on a hobby..... but still not enough!!!

Remember at first when I start playing it's like a 800 bucks investment.

To start playing:

300$ for the AEG (Ares Umarex G36C)
Boots (dry), pants/shirt (Woodland) - 120$ at surplus
Already had a motorola talkabout
2 batteries, 4 mags, 1 charger - 120$ at ehobby
I wear glasses, so the mask was a bit of a problem to find. Finally got a TM Pro Goggle - 80$ - ehobby
Tactival vest - 96$ at ebairsoft
Pouches for G36 mags - 29$ at ebairsoft
PTT for motorola radio - something like 50$ with headset.

SoooooOOOoo: 795$.
You might add some Canadian Tire boots to that, for rainy weather. Something like 30$.

Knowing what I know now, I would have forgone the tactical vest. Simply would have bought a belt to wear the pouches. The rest is fine.

Now, what I've bought since then... that's a whole different story.

And I tell you, I am no where near finished my kit. Still need a sidearm, a two-way and headset and/or throat mic. Still need rhino mounts and all the other goodies for my helmet aswell as some NVG.

Well, the OP *did* ask about starting to play. So I guess that means what you bought for the 2 or 3 first games.

Anything after that is one olive short of a divorce.

hrm probably about 1500 or more (dont tell my wife)

between vests, googles/masks, bdus, chest rigs/vests, holsters, sidearms, about 20 mags between all my weapons, various pouches, hydration carriers, gloves, boots, headwear....

...and there is still more i want to get

Just to start I probably only spent about 200-300, but really, you are never completely 100% happy with your kit, there is always something shiny out there that you really really want
