0.25 or 0.3g Biovals are excellent. You end up paying a little more but its worth it.

Edit: Just looked at Mach1 and the prices are pretty much on par with Bastards (and cheaper in comparison if your looking at the 0.3's)

And you think you using cheaper supposed "bio" BBs will suddenly make the earth all better? How do you know the manufacturing of the BBs doesn't off-set any supposed hippie-vagina-tickling marketing scheme that they are "biodegradable"? I dont trust these things worth a damn for being anything other than a ploy, like how most things these days come off as "green friendly" or what the fuck ever. Just us being alive is causing a detriment to the Earth, I doubt a plastic BB vs bio BB will really make a difference.

I myself stick to glossed plastic from well known brands and i've seen people trying cheaping out and end up catching the hopup rubber with some deformed mold fail bb then firing more and wrecking the gun internally. I don't understand it- the bbs are cheap as it is, better bbs fly further and more accurately really it makes sense to buy the good ones. Also BB Bastard are dead cheap and the best quality I myself have ever used (which isn't much but im sure others can attest) drop the cybergun they are pretty bad pickup some bb bastards.

if you really really wanna be a tree hugger they have bios.

Well Bioval are 100% Biodegradable and approved by the U.S. Enviroment agency or something like that. And I would have ideally gotten them, but I couldn't at the time. And sorry I didn't mean to spark any argument, I just figured one less plastic bb floating around is better than feeding the fire!!! And yes I realize humans are causing a detriment to the earth, so why not make an effort to fight against it? I don't understand why this is such a bad thing?

Not saying its a bad thing or trying to start an argument. Why do people here constantly think everything is a personal attack on them? I simply made a general statement displaying my opinion on the matter. Nothing else.

Also just because the marketing reps at Bioval make you think their "100% Biodegradable and approved by the U.S. Enviroment agency or something like that" does it make it true? Do you walk into a car dealership and believe everything the salesman tells you?

My appologies, I suppose I just took your opinion the wrong way. And no, but I certainly dont compare a bb company to a car dealership. Pretty sure being respected in the airsoft community is fairly important to retailers.

Bioval has some pretty shady business principles/tactics.

Our very own Scarecrow on these forums has tried to get information about them and where the "testing facilities" are or what the criteria is. All he got was smoke and mirrors, and a discussion with a Bioval enthusiast and supporter, which turned out to be a Bioval employee in disguise. You can search for the thread if you want to research it for yourself.

this problem might not be your bb's but your hop up rubber getting swollen from certain types of silicon oil. happened before with my kwa mp7.so i soaked my bucking in acetone and let it dry off for 1 day. not too sure if it happens with the mac 11 but look on kwa's forums and see if anyone else is having that problem

Thanks for answereing my question. I haven't really been lubing much, either than using the AI lube that came with my propane kit in desperate situations.

The whole "Levante Labs" fiasco. Turned out (not definitively) that the whole testing by an unbiased outsider laboratory was not entirely legitimate thus leading anyone with half a mind to suspect the whole claim as nothing more than a cheap marketing scheme. This was mostly for the BBBMax product but as far as I know they use the same "Lab" for their other products. BB Bastard on the other hand is as open about his products as a hookers legs. Everything thats in his BBs he makes known, their bio-neutrality, the processes for production, and I could keep going but you get the idea. He holds no secrets as he is also an active member in our local airsoft community.

I was thinking about getting some bbs from there too.

Thanks for the insight gentlemen.

Any other opinions on BB Bastard over Bioval?

Regards,
Heyds

By the way, I've dissasembled the upper reciever and noticed that the bbs are getting stuck at the end of the rubber hop up, right before the barrel, is this normally where jams occur?
