Well it ejects shells which you'll lose outdoors and in games. Then again 500 FPS is too much for games. So I have no idea what purpose this gun has, other than an expensive show piece, with an ugly rail and RDS on it.

500 FPS would be on propane and with one BB per shell. I load mine with 5 BBs per shell and I doubt it goes over 300 and that is on duster. Shell catcher works if you want to use this gun for games. Well my model is not that exact same one but it is a Maruzen M1100 revision to which I gave a different look.

I'VE GOT IT! THE REASON THAT MOUNT IS SO LONG!...

You mount an upside down M203 on it!

Yeah I know, but seriously what the hell does a shot gun need SUCH a long mount to it for?

well the shorty that we saw seems to either be a real knights rail, or a replica, I wonder what the story with this rail is, if its truly a rail in the real world then there must be a need.

Someone told me that the police used a scoped shotgun with a special slug (rifled or sabot round) to blow out door locks before they reach the door to save time. They would also need to mount some type of NV with the scope if it was done in the night.

Everything I've seen and read on using a shotgun as an entry tool indicates the barrel literally has to be pressed against the locking mechanism due to the type of round used - basically a sandbag that disintegrates on impact but has enough impact energy to blow out the lock but with no penetration. If you look at breaching-specific shotguns, like the Wilson Tactical line, they have a special flash suppressor that is crowned and crenelated so it bites into the door and doesn't move....

Door breaching rounds consist of powdered lead which dissipates immediately after impact.
