He had is FMU upgraded with some internal stuff too. One thing I remember that was really nice was the recoil spring was upgraded and the slide would slam back really fast and crisp.

You're misunderstanding Amano, TM GBBs are never full metal from stock.

As for upgrades, you don't really need any if you don't know why you'd need them. Basically, play half a summer worth of games with your gun first before you upgrade it. You might not need to upgrade if it's good enough from the get go. There are much, much more important items you'd need first, like spare mags, a propane adaptor, a good holster and a supply of 0.28g BBs (makes your GBB more effective without requiring upgrades).

I'll tell you about the KJW new M1911A1 when I get it. It's supposed to be Full metal(like all KJWs), and this time based on Marui internal(yet to be verified) and compatible with Marui parts(also yet to be verified)....I am quite looking forward to it actually....Mark said it'll be ~4weeks...lol

yeah go for the P226 i have one. i cant think of any cons besides the gun lacking trades. IMHO its more upgradeable than the M1911A1 if thats what you're are looking for.

heres some suggestions on the upgraders for the P226:
enchanced recoil spring and guide
enhanced hammer spring
high flow valve
silencer & threaded barrel
hogue grip
rail attachabe flashlight (maybe laser)
polish the slide

KJW P226 is a 99% clone of the TM P229, so upgrade parts for the TM will fit in the KJW 99% of the time. There are a fair bit of TM P229 upgrade options.

However, as I said before, you shouldn't be jumping into upgrading your gun right away. Especially since this is your first GBB and you're completely unfamiliar with them. A self-proclaimed noob with GBB shouldn't be in a hurry to mess with the inside of one.

I recommend you wait until you are over 18, and then go see what folks use before making purchases.

Please stop asking us for advice about things that are ILLEGAL for you to have.
