$10 TM MP5 Plastic Body

$20, sorry

If I were to get a CAS G&G, would it be worth buying this body and switching?

Tm bodies are better than G&G CAS ones, but if I were you I'd save up for a CA Metal body.
So no, it isnt.

CAS doesn't have a SD6, but they have a MP5 SD5. I'd rather have a retractable stock, would I be able to rewire the battery from the solid stock of the SD5 into the hand guard [would it fit?] and put on that TM retractable stock. So would the battery fit inside of the hand guard? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can rewire to the front handguard. But you won't be able to use a large battery, just a mini battery.

Thank you very much! Would rewiring it be hard though? I've never opened up an AEG before, and I don't know any gun docs. The CAS G&G MP5SD5 has a 9.6V 1400mA Battery, I apologize a lot for being such a newb, would that work out in the hand guard?

It will fit an 8.4v. It should fit a 9.6v.
A 9.6v would be really tight in a normal MP5 handguard, but in an SD handguard there should be a lot of room.

And no I wouldn't recommend trying to rewire your gun if you haven't even opened it up yet.
You can try to find a gundoc in your area, or mail it to me for a rewire/reshim/upgrade, etc

I'll keep that in mind! Thank you very much, you have been very helpful. All this headache could be solved if what I heard was true. According to http://www.diviarms.co.cc/ , they told me in a few weeks that CAS was coming out with a new MP5 SD6:

"Well your in luck!
CAS Just came out with the SD6 retractable stock.
The price on that item is: $360. +$10 shipping in Ontario or $15 outside Ontario.
This option is much cheaper then buying a different stock around $70 or so..."

But I don't know whether or not they are reputable, CAS doesn't have anything about any new airsoft on their site, he told me this at Wed, 23 Sep 2009 04:26:40.

Body or the stock? I'm only interested in the stock.

Get AV'd, and you can get a MUCH better MP5 for that $360, or a little more.

Two years is a long time to wait. At Op-for over here, us 16 year old's are allowed to play as long as we are mature and respective, along with our parent or guardian watching at the premises. That's why I'd rather get a gun I can enjoy for two years. I understand that I could buy a very nice gun at a relatively lower price once I turn 18, but I'd rather spend that $360 on two well enjoyed years earlier, if you can understand my perspective.

I plan on calling CAS tomorrow and see if they can confirm if they are indeed putting out a MP5SD6. It would really suck if if I got scammed. I don't suppose you could confirm anything either? I wanted to thank you again, you've been very helpful.

Lol, how do you get scammed if you don't pay him any money, and he doesn't have a gun?
