Maybe he can set you up a rental program, say 30$ a day.

Is the G&P lower in price or about the same?.
Could you shoot me a pm on who would be bringing
these in. Thanks

I would assume that since the G&P GBB is just a WA M4 with the G&P aftermarket parts in it, it would be more than a stock WA M4.

It's never the price of the gun itself. It's the magazines first and foremost, and it's the cost of the upgrades. I only spent about 400 dollars on the gun itself. I have six magazines, and a large number of aftermarket parts, so you know I probably could've just bought a PTW instead ...

Magazines will be a killer expense as well. Ten WA magazines will be well over run 1000.00. Buy some G&P WA Magazine O-ring kits as well, as you will definately have some leakers right out of the starting gate.

Kevin I am really hoping the VIS goes on that new MTW of yours.

I have attached a photo of mine (lower) to give some perspective as to what RS accessories can go on a MTW:

Can you use a real steel deltra ring, stock tube, and does the receiver line up flat with real steel accessories? From what I can tell in the pic it looks like you have a Troy rail system that doesnt quite line up with the receiver. Damnit, I thought their receiver was supposed to be 1:1 scale!

If I understand correctly,$400 for a WA,maybe$800 for a G&P M16A4.
Would that be about right?.

$600-$800 USD before shipping, would be what I would expect. I don't know what's in a complete package when you buy one of the G&P ones.

YES...I finally have a use for that RS Vltor VIS! Good thing I never mod it to fit the PTW. It fits like a charm & will only require minimal filing to clear the bolt stop.
As long as I can get that Prime WA Vltor/Stag MBK I'll be set. What have you guys done with your internals for upgrades? I hear the stock hop-up sucks! I'm working on getting the complete RA-Tech internals. So far I've just got mags on order...can't wait to test her out!

I started with a WA M4-Patriot. For internals, I went with -

- RA-Tech Steel Bolt Stop
- RA-Tech Hop-up Chamber
- RA-Tech Hop-up Rubber
- PDI 6.01 Inner Barrel (210mm)
- G&P 120% Hammer Spring
- POM Reinforced Loading Nozel

I also did some personal work on the bottom of the bolt carrier assembly and the flat-surface of the hammer to make the action a little smoother. I noticed there was some wearing and it made me nervous.

Which PDI barrel is that? Do standard AEG barrels fit the Ra-Tech hop-up chamber? Which brand of loading nozzle did you use? Any links?

The stock Patriot inner barrel is actually several cm shorter than it, so I ended up using my Noveske flashider to conceal the extra length. Apparently 210mm is the standard CQB-R length in Japan - the shorter length limits the FPS.

No, they do not.

"POM" is a material, you're right. I thought that was a brand. I don't do a lot of nozzle upgrades. I'm actually not sure what brand it is.

I bought it from Airsoft Global. It was recommended to me.

Do the internals need to be overhauled? I heard they are all steal and reinforced. RA-Tech makes a better hop up system I believe. Thats the only thing Ive heard that needs to be replaced.

I dont think the internals neccessarily need to be overhauled due to the abundance of steel components. However i've read that this thing likes to shatter bb's and mash them into the hop up creating a lovely mess to pick out of your gun. The RA-Tech complete steel carrier and bolt system combined with their enhanced hop is supposed to apparnetly fix all feeding issues the gun has. I have those parts on order as well and will be the first upgrade that goes into my gun. Beyond that, I couldnt imagine what else in terms of upgrades is even necessary for the gun, I may even downgrade it some how in order to be able to keep it under 350 FPS for indoor use.

Another thing to add is the forward assist on the MTW is a non-functional aesthetic feature unlike its WA brethren.
