Obviously you didn't read the part where USPS isn't accepting packages to Canada (just like CP isn't accepting any new packages). They can't just accept packages and hold them all.

Sad day really....

you wouldn't be saying that if it was hydro, water or gas on strike or lockout and you had none of that service.

A massive +1 to that.

Seriously stfu postal workers... As far as i see it you are an essential service and shouldnt even be able to strike. Stop complaining about your $24/ hr job and give me my mail. This strike has gone on long enough.

I know oodles of people who would work at cp for less. I say just fire the fuckers and get new people. Its an unskilled job but they make as much or more then people with schooling. My Mom is an anesthesiologist technician and my Dad is an electrician who is one of the only people qualified to work on what he does with the aerial FLIR units and they make as much as a postal worker.

I almost fell of the shitter when I read experienced workers will continue to get 7 weeks vacation! My god, I'm lucky if I get one... And for me, there is no such thing as sick leave. As much as I am still torn from time to time about government involvement (as I feel in general I'd like government to keep their nose out of things), this time, I am 100% behind this legislation. For small/medium business, mail delivery is critical and long term, this could be very damaging to a large sector of the economy. I would imagine, behind closed doors, many posties are happy to be returning to work. Unions. Meh!

This can hardly be any good news at all.

The damage to many innocent and responsible taxpayers like me is large enough (my business suffers tremendous lost due to the long delay of client's paychecks) to further drive me away from the union shit and NDP

I will keep writing to the NDP to express my anger and discontent, as they have done nothing to smooth things out but to cause more damage. This incident clearly shows their low level of political wisdom and incompentence to be the opposite party to guard the public interest.

I don't think my mailbox can hold 3 weeks worth of spam and bills all at once. What happens when there is too much mail to stick in there?

I was thinking that yesterday to Ross. Some days my mailbox is full just from junk alone. Maybe I should put a box under my mailbox lol

canada post wasn't accepting mails and packages during the strike. So that won't happen for a while.
