Don't get black! .25 is perfect. .28's would be good too.

usualy people use 0.25s in there guns due to increased accuracy and range. if ur planing on using them get a good brand like bb bastard. also don't forget to adjust ur hopup but thats a given. the difference between black and white bb's is that the black bb's are extreamly hard to trace wich means u don't know where ur shooting. White bb's are easy to trace and some players that have a good eye can trace them aswell wich means they can hide before it comes near them. Alot of people like to mix both because if your gun is fairly accurate you can trace with white and people won't find out your position as much.

hope this clears things up

How well do you know your gun? I started with white but picked up some black ones cause I was curiouse.

I found a 80/20 split of black to white is actually really good. You get about 5 -10 blacks than a white or two as a tracer. Enemy has no idea where you are, it forces you to use your sights as well so it adds an edge of realisim to the game.

Edit*

Adjust your hop up THAN load black BB's.... Adjusting hop up with black BB's is next to impossible

instead of .20 how much range will be decreased with .25 with 360 fps?

use 0.2's for cqc and 0.25's for outdoor. it saves you some money unless 0.2 and 0.25's cost the same now. 0.25 is best due to accuracy. just because ur initial fps drops with heaver bb's doesn't mean anything but its definatly worth using heaver bb's for accuracy

Is this not the reason that messuring in Jouls is better than FPS?

Joules *I think I am spelling that right* is the messurment of energy that something contains. Be it force, like a bullet, or actual energy *calories is actually a measurement of joules *. I have no idea what the math equation for it is.

Sorry for my terriable spelling.

Joules, actually. The equation is:

0.5(m[kg]) (v[m/s])^2

So the output of his gun is:

0.5(0.2 / 1000) (360 / 3.28)^2
=1.2046401 J

EDIT: Finally got back to grips with that equation (embarrassing I know), so here's your FPS with .25's:

v^2=1.2046401 / [0.5(0.25 / 1000)]
v^2=1.2046401 / 0.000125
v^2=9637.12079

v=√9637.12079
v=98.1688382 m/s

v [ft/s]=98.1688382 x 3.28
v [ft/s]=321.993789

Use whatever color you wish. Heck buy a black and a white bag of the same weight and mix them together if you want.

Heres a link to an FPS calculator on arnies so you can now figure out what FPS you will achieve with different weights of BBs. You may wish to book mark it, its very handy.
http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filn...s/fps_calc.htm

When it comes to BB weight, the heavier the BB the slower its going to travel, however the heavier it is the more resistant its going to be to foliage and wind.

No one should ever fire .2 gram BB's... I don't even stock them because of this.

.25 will ALWAYS out-preform .2 unless you're shooting under 200fps.
at 360+ FPS you should be firing .28's
at 430+ FPS you should be firing .3's and higher

Bastards have Black .25's now, same price as .20 and .25 whites. If your a shooter who knows where your shot is going depending on your sites, blacks are perfect a perfect advantage. I am also working on convincing the head Bastard to do a run of Black .28's!
