As I remember when I had the azimuth nozzle installed, I'd found that it didn't fit properly and had to be filed down a lot of spots like plastic moding flash and gate to make it works smooth. So far it has no jam at all for more than a year already, touch wood;-)

Hi can someone drop me a PM as to who carries FE upgrades for the VFC MP5 in Canada and where are the lube spots on this beast?

Will white lithium grease (spray) suffice?

No do not use white lithium grease spray.

No one in Canada carries the FE upgrades. It's best you order online...
However if you do want some mags and fill valves what not you can speak to Illusion

How come I shouldn't use white lithium gear?

New to the hobby. No idea what to do.

This is basically stock for now, except for the recoil spring and front sight which have been upgraded to steel parts. I still have a bunch of upgrade parts from Azimuth, Angry Gun, etc that I need to install and test out. Will take more pictures when I get a chance following completion of the gun

Installed the azimuth loading nozzle.
> gun fails to feed
Installed the azimuth aluminium bulb inside azimuth loading nozzle
> ROF increased, gun still fails to feed (doesnt pick up bbs, does not jam however)
Installed the azimuth copper cylinder
> failure to feed + jam
Installed azimuth copper bolt shims
> failure to feed, cycle + jam on every BB

any one here have same experiences with said upgrades?

I also notice that the bolt wiggles quite alot while traveling forward again

Same problem I have with the azimuth... That is why I went with FE upgrade instead.

Modifications are required to the Azimuth nozzle to get it to function well.

I have one installed in mine, but it came pre-upgraded, so I don't know specifically what work was done to it.

Depending on the type of cylinder you have you must use 2000grit sand paper to shave down some of the thickness on the azimuth loading nozzle to make sure it is smooth.

Upgrades and Modifications

So I've discovered that the gun cycles the best when the bolt carrier and blow back assembly is kept at a bare minimum weight.

After trying many different parts I decided to weigh them all and give the most optimal performance setup I've been able to find so far.

This for those who are still using the green gas mags and not the CO2.

Here is the Crusader Steel Bolt Carrier, this is too heavy and slows down the performance of the gun tremendously. Also it is a very tight fit with any of the cylinders.

The TSC steel bolt head is worth the upgrade since it is much stronger then the original one from VFC. It is only 6 grams heavier which isn't much of a difference.

I like using the Crusader Cylinder as it is one of the smoothest cylinders out there for the VFC Mp5.

The FE one is a bit of a tight fit for any aftermarket loading nozzles, it is also heavier.

The FE Aluminium is one of my favourite loading nozzles out of all the ones out on the market. I have tried the clear Azimuth one before and that was no good. I had many jamming issues with that.

I hope these pictures give you an idea of how much each part weighs. I will keep on updating with new findings. :salute:

Well, if anyone here needs steel parts for this gun let me know.

one of my idiot "friends" made me order $200 in parts for this gun, he sold his and is refusing to pay for it because he said "I don't need to pay for something I'm not going to use"

I'll even install too
