Exclamation A Fellow Canadian Airsofter needs some help with his son's medical bills, lets help!

Hey guys. Falcor23 is selling a lot of his gear to help pay for his child's medical bill so lets help him out instead. Let's show just what kind of good were made of! I'm hoping we can raise the $550 required for him by the 23rd this month.

You can find his post here: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=163226

Donate here: http://www.plumfund.com/pf/l35e2

Thanks guys.

UPDATE: Need to set up pay pal with bank account info and all so I'll let you guys know when transfers will start being accepted!
UPDATE 2: Donations are now being accepted.

FINAL UPDATE: Falcor 23 wont be needing our help, he says that a family member helped him cover it
On another note I finally got my paypal account verified!

I dont trust random people that i dont know, especially from the internet. Also i was under the impression that canadian health care was free. Just my 2 cents. Wish his son the best though.

Agreed, I don't just throw my money away because some guy who joined in 2012 makes an unsubstantiated claim and asks for money.

While I do wish the best of luck, I'm not about to just buy in to anything you say over the internet.

Says a man who pays no taxes. I think the word you are looking for is "universal".

Well, there are also medical premiums, and drugs are not covered for the most part. However, it may be a case of surgery that the MSP doesn't cover, but I'm not sure what that would be - something not life-threatening?

Anyway, enough speculation. Someone either buys his airsoft stuff (and/or donates) or doesn't.

But people are more likely to donate I think if they know what it's for.

You're disappointed that people are hesitant to give money to to someone they don't that's making a claim with no proof whatsoever?

How fucked are the finances of this family if they can't get a 1k credit card?

If my kid needed surgery I would sell my eyes if it would help.

A C-category payday loan lender can get almost anyone $500 even at 1:30 Am... The interest rate would suck but they would have the money.

If this is real, I can empathize, but momma didn't raise no foo.

Pretty much. Why not mention what the surgery is? $550 is easy to get, and obviously he affords airsoft. Anyways, with so much fraud and bullshit online you couldn't have expected any other response. Hopefully though, all is well. Children first.

He's flying his kid down to the states to get the operation done. I'll ask him for some documentation, he said he would give it to me no problem. I understand why you guys are hesitant I just thought I could help out some way you know.

EDIT: It's a hearing operation forgot to mention.
