I have other outer barrels, but I prefer the look and heft of the 16 inch steel outer barrel and steel front sight. G&G replica tri-ad rail(I miss my real one, but this is not bad at all) and some shiny G&P slim carbine handguards.

If I knew exactly where to find the Diemaco receiver and 16" barrel, I would build a C8

I love the weathering on your gun. Did you use steel wool to get that look?

NOPE. Steel wool and heavy sandpaper will never be near any gun I own. I my own technique involving a tub of water and a sponge XD Works great, gives it that dull sheen instead of that polished gleam.

Interesting. So would this be some sort of abrasive sponge?
I would love to do this to a 1911a1 some day.

I'm doing my 1911A1 tomorrow night. I'll post pics when its done.
Check out my media page https://www.facebook.com/Hashtag21Media/?ref=bookmarks

and add me on FB and ill tag you in the results. https://www.facebook.com/fernando.matias.5454

Also, the method basically comes down to submerging the gun in water and using a regular kitchen sponge

Ayee-ji or jeeb-be arh?

There may be more options out there, but off the top of my head ......
-CAF receiver roll marks will need engraving.
-G&P have AEG Diemaco styalized "D" AEG and WA GBB receivers
-G&P have an aluminium "Canada barrel" for AEG.
-Pro-Arms have aluminium barrels for both AEG and GBB, (possibly PTW?, I can't remember)

Thanks for sharing. Added.
I love the wall-o guns you have. The AK looks especially nice.
This would be a great write up
