Stuck on What G36c I should get. ARES or Matrix?

So for a long time I've been wanting to get the ARES G36c and I finally have the money saved up, but then comes evike with an amazing deal on what looks to be like a Great G36c. Its the Matrix X46c. Its only 140$ requlary 200$ Plus shipping and international charges ect. so im thinking Im going to be paying around 200$ for it which is alot cheaper than the ARES Version. Now the reason Why im thinking of buying the X36 is because I heard it has a high quality Polymer body, and is said to have one of the best gear boxes and motor in the market. I've heard nothing but positive reviews and no negative reviews and most of the reviews said it has lasted them 3-5 years without any problems. But the main reason I want the ARES is because of the quick spring change. I constantly switch from indoors to outdoors. I only have a mediocre SRC indoor gun. The ARES also has blow back which I am disabling to keep my gearbox from exploding. The X36 also is said to be exactly like the Tokyo marui but with better externals. I know I'm going to get a lot of people telling me to get a KWA or CA but I cant really afford that and its hard getting american guns into canada. Im planning on getting the X36 in diffrent parts and then building it to aviod it being seized and the ARES through Toronto airsoft.

your parts will still be seized at the border. The upper receiver of the g36 is the restricted portion, it is not allowed to be imported.

BTW, matrix is evike's housebrand, they often misrepresent the quality of these products. If you can't find a bad review on evike it's because they delete all the bad reviews and only keep the good ones. ASGI does this as well, but they don't rebrand the cheapest garbage they can find as a 'premium' brand (mostly).

It is probably at best, the JG g36, which isn't a bad gun, but not worth the risk of putting your name and address on a watch/detain list when you cross the border or go traveling. It could be any other number of china brand shitsoft as well, quite frankly you don't know what you're getting.

You seriously want to gamble your money? You don't want to save up another 200 to get a CA or KWA? well you'll have 0 dollars and no gun when that matrix is seized, and because of the way they deal with shipping, they'll probably charge you 100$ to ship it to canada.. if you even get it at all.

Because you mentioned it, toronto airsoft is having a sale on their g36 which imo is a far safer and cheaper bet than the ares (or risking import), even though it's tinted. that can be easily solved. And it doesn't matter to the guy you hit with it whether if it's clear or not, it works just the same as a TM compatible.

If you seriously want a good G36, buy a Star if you can find one. Yes they are different from Ares current model. If you cannot find one, buy a Tokyo Marui. Your not going to find better, or "as good".

- "Do not" try to import, or smuggle guns!

- Please get AV'ed; so we can properly, and further assist you.

Help protect our sport in Canada.

I’ve developed a new sport I call ‘Airhard’. It’s basically Airsoft, except while you play you must maintain a massive erection...
