Is it a faulty hi-capa Xtreme or is there something I can do?

I just received and tried to play with my 2nd hi-capa Xtreme.

With this one (as opposed to my previous one) I am not able to empty a full mag in one full auto shot without problems.

I can maybe shoot 10-15 BBs before the rate of fire starts to slow down a lot. I know there is a cooldown effect and all but it never did that with my other Xtreme. Mags were were at room temp for 12+ hours.

Then after 4-5 "slowed" shots, the gun keeps "shooting" (the slide moves back and forth) but no BBs come out (also feels like it has a lot less power). Then it stops, no more gas left in the mag.

Tested with 6 different mags. Also lubricated the slide.

Any ideas? Should I return it to the retailer or is there something I can do?

Just to throw it out there, not sure if this would cause this.. But maybe a getting-close-to-empty propane tank? Try with a fresh one maybe?

So the problem might be one of these :

-faulty piston head (how do you recognize a bad piston head?)
-leaking hop-up assembly (it did that problem with both the stock hop up rubber and a firefly rubber too)
-cracked nozzle

for the piston head, either the Oring is damaged or malformed, may be hard to detect a malformation, but in my Xtreme i changed from a stock piston head to a DYNA piston head and it gained about 50% gas efficiency
