2011/07/01 / 01:00 Labour disruption affecting this location; item delayed Lettermail

FFFFF, how the hell is there still a labour disruption in play. Supposedly this tracking number entered the system on June 1st, why the hell can I only track the parcel now.

I know. But they've been back to work for two weeks now. It is unacceptable, 3 specific packages arrived in Canada before the lockout, and I'm getting newer ones before these 3. FUBAR

So the package they redirected to my new 'fictional' address has been looked into. The employee said give it about a week, then call back, they might know something then.
As of today the package tracking information has been changed to;
Updated Delivery : To be determined
Delivery date changed : To be determined

Same thing happened to me.
I think it's just a generic message, the package has been reprocessed and rescanned, going to your original address.

Technically it should start off where it left off, and mail should be even faster considering less overall volume...

At my work place it is actually even worse haha... I think we got no mail for 5 days straight after back to work, and it took 2 months for a client to finally receive a cheque (from Mississauga -> Montreal) in the mail lol... I believe the place I work at has now moved on to FedEx.

Fucking Canada Post.
All 3 of the packages I'm tracking are "Labour disruption affecting this location; item delayed". Including one I sent yesterday fucking Priority Post!
If that Priority package doesn't get there by when it was supposed to I'm going to demand the money back.

Man I have about 13 tracking numbers with the same thing, some shipped after the lockout was over and some shipped (received at customs, then released) a week or so before the lockout.

They say volume but its bull as I still only get mail of any kind 2 days a week ( Tuesday and Thursday thats it)

My package was the same Item Delayed - Temporary volume surge as we resume operations, however it only lasted about three or four days, and today it is out for delivery. Wishful thinking; maybe they're getting their shit together.
