M4 rear sling mount

Hey, I recently got an M4 and I want to put my 1 point bungee sling on it. the only thing is that there is no place to clip it on. The sling mount in the back has the hole down, so its blocked. How do I turn it so if faces out? Thanks

You can either tie some para cord around the stock and clip the sling onto that, or you can get a sling plate that'll fit between the receiver and the buffer tube.

Ah, yeah no, that won't turn out. When you take the stock, buffer tube and plate off there's a post with tracks that these all slide onto on the lower receiver. The track keeps the stock parts from twisting.

Long story short, that plate can be replaced with one that has sling loops on it. Or just dummy cord the stock...

If you take a look HERE you could find the plate that replaces that, so you can attach your sling

Just make sure that the one you do pick works for your sling.
