"134A Power Airgun Gas"

I just bought some "134a power airgun gas" from airsoft kelowna, and I'm a little worried because it says power level GREEN(out put measured at 8kgs +/- o.5kgs) and under caution it says "keep away from and do not discharge gas near spark/ open flame."....so I'm a little worried that this might be propane.

Anyone use this brand before?

I've used it and it's not propane. I just use it for storage.

Wouldnt it be more sensible to use propane for storage cause it costs less?

I have that same gas can, when it ran out I bought a can of duster gas from walmart and refilled it, because it is only $10 for a can of the same size.

I may be wrong but from what I know they use small amounts of propane as propelent and that is why alot of cans are flamable and explosive. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You really can't say anything about the contents of a gas can without at least measuring it's pressure at room temperature. I've found a lot of false claims from can capacity to contents (gas or even the presence of lubricant) printed on the outside of a can.

I just scrounged around and found my can of "134a power airgun gas" also purchased from airsoft kelowna a while ago. I've measured the pressure on this stuff and found to exert the same pressures as HFC134a from refrigerant pressure tables. This stuff is probably HFC134a as there isn't really another gas with the same pressure performance in common supply.
