MP5 no single shot.

Hey, I have a CYMA Mp5a5. And it won't shoot on semi. Just shoots full auto on semi. I swapped out the trigger assembly too with a G&P. Nothing is broken inside the gearbox. I don't know what's wrong with it. I've tried everything.

See the screw on the far left of this image? Sometimes that gets TOO tight and the little lever arm it holds down gets stuck. (This same problem happened to my MP5.)

Also, on the exterior of your mechbox there is a tiny spring that goes between your selector plate and that lever arm. Make sure it is there.

Yeah I checked all that. The spring is there. I hate this thing lol. I even rebuild the box. I put in an MP5 Lonex box. So it's quality. All custom. I'll tear it apart for one last time and see if I can figure it out. But if anyone can think of anything. Let me know!! Thanx

I don't have it apart but where the trigger makes contact with the trigger assembly. The top. It looks like it's been filed down. On an angle. Or broken off.

It could be that your trigger contacts are too close together, so it starts firing before the cutoff lever has a chance to engage. Try (gently!) prying the copper trigger contacts apart a few mm so that the trigger sled only completes the circuit with a full trigger pull. If after reassembling you find it doesn't fire at all, you've pried the contacts apart too far and need to push them together. Alternatively, the cutoff lever itself may be worn out, check that for wear. Last, as a sanity check, make sure the little cam on the left (bottom) side of the sector gear is actually pushing against the cutoff lever with enough force to disconnect the trigger sled from the contacts.

basically you want the contacts so far apart that they will only sandwich the shuttle block near the back of the trigger pull, so with the trigger in the half gearbox, hold it down and pull it like you were shooting, see how far the shuttle pushes forward and adjust the contacts accordingly. You want them to shift/come in contact lightly, not have the contacts pinch and hold the shuttle.
