mp7 battery specifications

Does anyone happen to know the size of the 7.2 batt in an mp7? I'm looking for like length, width, height dimensions here. I'm thinking its possible to swap in an mini rc battery with all the cells verticall side by side or possibly even a custom. Thx

Impossible to fit a vertical shaped battery.

You CAN very easilly fit a 800mAh 7.4v LiPo, made for E-Flight Blade CX or clones.

They go for cheap and fit just right in the space you have. You will have to modify your MP7 to allow for a connector though, since the original one is pressure-plates on the battery and gun. Dean's Micro 4R are a good choice.

6x 2/3AA sized NiCd cells, in 2 sticks configuration.

Don't have anything to measure here, but you can do it yourself.
Here is a pic:

The cavity in the MP7 is molded very close to the dimensions, and does not let you insert anything box shaped with the dimensions above.

Worked on a bunch of battery solutions for the MP7, and so far the best one ever is theses LiPos. They are inexpensive and deliver more than the stock setup.
