AK to AK Sniper conversion

alright guys, as the title states i am thinking about throwing slapping on an over-length inner barrel to put in my TM Clone AK-47. will it fit in an AK hop-up?
( something similar to this http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/upgrade-p...sg1-650mm.html )

I know that the inner barrel will be longer than the outer barrel so im hoping to put on a silencer. once i get the inner barrel figured out i will get a scope and bi-pod.

please let me know if there is anything else that i will need to make the gun into an accurate S.O.B. eg. hop up, connections, ect.

go ahead and flame away at this ridiculous project, i have all the makings for a flame fest, thinking i can do this myself, tac rails on on an AK, mixing gun parts.....

as long as someone sends some is helpful its all good.

thanks

You might need a metal body and scope mount if you plan on using a correct optic in the correct manner.

Other than that, a Pro-Win hop-up unit and h-nub will be beneficial.

assuming it is a tight bore barrel that he is putting in, he is adding a scope and a bipod, if he added one of the devices that limits the ROF then it could be classed as a sniper rifle. he is clearly not just making it look like a sniper rifle, he wants to make some internal changes too.

I have run a 200mm silencer on a AK for years, with a 534mm (SIG 550) length inner barrel, the inner barrel comes just past halfway down the silencer. Just make sure to wrap some tape around the inner barrel to stabilize it nice and tight inside the outer barrel.

be sure to get an AK scope, don't slap a rail on there and put a regular one on, it doesn't look as cool imo :P

I have to disagree with this statement, I have two eastern bloc scopes, one is mounted on an SKS and the other is used on my Cyma AKM and AKSU, they are very robust and user friendly, How ever! if you dont mount them proporly or fail to install a check rest on your stock, you may find them uncomfortable.

results my vary!

thats just my .02 cents

Woah, calm down, nerd
Bipod for easier aiming while prone, and low cap mag so a longer one dosent catch on the ground before you bipod does
Fuckin' nerd.

If you're going to do something do it right.

Don't just slap a bunch of crap together and call it what it isn't

..and slapping a bipod and a lower capacity mag on an assault rifle does not make it a sniper rifle.
