The only way the SORBO would be responsable for this type of damage is if you installed it directly over the original cylinder head pad (ie, did not remove the original), or the SORBO pad comes detatched from the cylinder head and ends up doubling over onto it's self. Otherwise, look else where for the cause.
As posted above, the details of the upgrade are required in order to properly assist you solve this problem. FPS of the spring, type of gears, type of piston, etc...
