So I’ve been doing a co-op at cfb Borden for a month now working basically as a mat-tech at the base maintenance depot doing a bit of welding, fabricating, machining, and sewing. Albeit my skill is no were near the level of the guys I’m understudying. The thing is though I'm really enjoying what I’m doing and thinking about joining the military after I’m finished high school and becoming a Mat-Tech.
So my question to the community is if there is anyone one the board that is a Mat-Tech or part of the EME-GEM branch in general Do you enjoy your work and is it something I should consider making a career out of.
I am now a proud Google user.
