they simply notified you, the customer, that their ebay store was experiencing technical problems. they know people look at items from their ebay store and online store to compare prices and find parts that might not be available on the other.
edit: they must have grouped all email accounts from online and ebay store together since you made an order, they just sent a blanket email to everyone's orders
