Personal experience with Crossman, however, tells me that this gun will probably break just after the 30-day warrenty is up... or after you spray-paint it, etc. It says something that my crappy little Walter P22 has lasted longer than the M4 I bought from Crossman.

My P22 lasted so long that I got fed up with it not breaking and broke it myself. I think it was around the 12,000 BB mark then. My M4 broke much earlier, but it's a simple fix after you take a few weeks of thinking about it. In the end, I ended up drilling a hole through some parts and using a nail. It works to this day.
You said that the little P22 is very hard to break, it's strange for a crosman built thing and sale on a other name.
