changing front wiring to rear wiring in a normal v2 requires you to open the gearbox and possibly fuck up shimming or lose parts if you aren't competent at working inside the gearbox.
Personally if you have everything you need to run it front wired, run it until something breaks then have it all done at once.
If its a split gearbox, I'm not sure exactly how the wire routing works.
I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
