what is your local field limit? a m100 spring may shoot over 360fps
bevel to pinion is really easy on a v3. But just shim the bevel high enough to meet the pinion but still have a little bit of looseness to it. Don't shim it tight to the pinion.
If you have a piston bearing and a spring guide bearing and you're shooting 360 and want less.. you can remove the piston bearing (sometimes there's just a spacer) the whole piston bearing or shim can take 30fps out of the spring. If you have a bearing each piece of it is worth 10fps or so. The spring is less compressed so it will generate less power. Only do that if you have 2 bearings. If the piston bearing is your only one, then it's better to just get a 90 spring.
I futz with V2s, V3s and V6s. I could be wrong... but probably, most likely not, as far as I know.
