Yeap, a quick search on RCMP didn't prove useful, hence the visit to CGN; No more luck I'd say -> *Some guy* implied that blans are fine, but ... yeah, wathever

A second search around RCMP's playground led me to this:

Quote:
A4. As set out in the Firearms Act, "firearm" means:
(...)
Devices designed exclusively for signalling, for notifying of distress, for firing blank cartridges or for firing stud cartridges, explosive-driven rivets or other industrial projectiles;
(...)
Interesting, that'd means even ramsets are considered firearms, according to the firearm act (and criminal code, but that's no surprise)

Continuing reading and stuff

edit: I created a topic there ->

Edit2:
A reply to above post support that blanks can be bought without license

I guess the questions that remains are:
Can the VTG be imported, and will they be allowed by the community in general?

From the video in OP, they seem to output, albeit small and short lived, a flame; I'm not sure they would cause any real fire-risk but I'm no specialist on the matter. I'm curious to know if anyone more knowledgeable in the area could pitch in?
