There's "importation" and there's "re-importation". The latter is doable. The former is a crap shoot with the odds seriously stacked against you. If you don't follow the letter to a "t", you're boned. (See http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=128970

There is "legal importation" that requires the appropriate paperwork and licensing, but they're not easy to apply for or easy to obtain. The airsoft retailers here have done that legwork already.
