We don't play in the snow generally. Usually games are moved to indoor venues or we do other things (snowboarding, or whatever). BUT occasionally there are some outdoor winter games but due to extra stresses placed on internals in sub zero weather it's mostly avoided.
As for mesh goggles, a lot of places don't allow them due to potential liability issues. Mesh face mask is fine but depends on if the field requires paintball approved goggles (since we generally play at paintball venues) but there are sometimes games at private or airsoft exclusive fields and you can wear sealed ballistics or ballistic glasses (depending on who's hosting and what their rules are).
