totally agree, im also very new to airsoft and even though i read every faq i could find and reasearched for days on end, i learnt alot the first coouple times i hung out/played with my local team. i didn''t even start to look for a gun seriously until after my first game. i tried out numerous guns *g36c, L85, m4, m16* and even though i had wanted a bullpup or a g36c, i decided to get a g36 instead.
so my advice, find your local team show them your a serious player and more then likely they'll let you try out numerous types of guns so u have a better idea of what will work for you.
