caveat: overheating your battery will damage/shorten it's lifespan.

my 9.6v 1400mah use to get awfully hot when charged at 2-3 amps. it doesn't even get warm anymore.

**please don't tell me not to charge at high current. been doing this for ages on many types of batteries and have no issues with them.
