LIPO ready means that the gearbox and other components has been reinforced to withstand the use of high voltage and high power batteries of up to 11.1 volts and can consequently be used at high ROF. Using high power LIPO in a non LIPO ready gun would create too much stress on some parts and could cause failures.
Ran a lipo in my cansoft G&G M16 for about a year now no issue. last i check it wasn't lipo ready. And My 416 with an old non-reinforced CA mechbox shell for longer. a perfectly shimmed/properly adjusted motor height mechbox can handle a high power battery (as long as it doesn't have craptastic potmetal TM gears)
