Try to stay away from Angel Custom parts if you can. Action Army makes some excellent parts at an affordable price as well. Supposedly, their hop up chamber is better than PDI and Laylax.

The vents on the motor-can shown on BrillArmory aren't even in the right place, the magnets would block those vents. You would want to cut vents on the curved side of the motor can.

The green chip is absolute crap, I've fried too of them already with a high discharge 11.1 LiPo. It might have been because one of the builds was a M190 DSG though.

ARES isn't that bad, it's extremely easy to access the gearbox and hopup, and the bolt catch is pretty cool as well. I've fitted a standard V3 gearbox in one before, but the stock one should hold up...

Even if the gearbox is compatible, I highly doubt the hop up assembly would be. Your best bet would be one of those Gameface ones or and old ICS.

Do you have a mosfet in there? That might be one of the issues since you are using a 11.1 LiPo. Other than that, it can definitely last if you do the basic tuning (shimming, AOE, sorbo).

Yeah, 11.1V LiPo with any of those ACM neo motors and 18:1 gears should net around 30 RPS. Of course, the standard tune up (AOE, sorbo, etc) need to be done as well to ensure that it will work well.

I wouldn't say VFC and LCT are ahead by miles, RS is external wise. As for the TM high cycle, 25 RPS isn't hard when the guns shoot at such a low FPS.

Definitely get a new motor, perhaps a JG Blue or Lonex A2. Those have insane torque. Another option is to get a AK stick lipo, which should have similar dimensions to a 9.6v stick battery.

Yeah, but it also destroy your piston if it is not setup properly (AOE correction, PE). Another helpful part for semi locking is an AB mosfet, but that wears your motor brushes down quicker.
