Good luck with that.

Let us know next week when that Airsoft Surgeon board melts a trace and lets the smoke out.

etiny November 27th, 2011 11:03

C'mon Mac, not all AS boards have gone 'up in smoke'...I'm still running one myself!

swatt13 November 27th, 2011 14:05

mine lasted 3 games! then poof just as mac predicted then airsoft surgeon told me to go f myself when i asked about warranty lol

mcguyver November 27th, 2011 17:28

I have three of them on my bench right now. I had to replace 3 or 4 in years past.

Poor low voltage protection.

Sounds like a retailer trying to make inroads here to sell his wares.

I would by a Tackleberry super-mini ECU long before I would buy one from some unkown Asian supplier. Especially one who hasn't bothered to read the ASC rules.

Post up the parts/manf/retailer details as information or GTFO...

etiny November 28th, 2011 09:54

actually, there are only retailer in euro

Thanks etiny for creating this thread pointing us to the Etiny mini replacement unit.

Do you know of any independent reviews of this unit out there?

ILLusion November 28th, 2011 11:25

This belongs in manufacturer announcements, and so, it will be sent there...

hi guy,

this ecu will be in stock on doubletaptactical.ca very soon..

w1lp33 January 6th, 2012 22:56

Just my two cents: Be VERY careful installing this... My ribbon cable got a little pinched, and the whole thing died. And the way its constructed, you can't unplug the ribbon cable to replace it with a new one, so I basically bricked a $150 mosfet. Jackassery on my part for fucking up? Yes. Kind of shitey design that I couldn't just replace the ribbon cable? Also yes. Gonna get one from Fight Club Custom, the ribbon cable just plugs in at the end, so if I ruin everything again, I'm just replacing a cable, instead of the whole thing...

what isn't mentioned here is that current CTW models are NOT compatible with Systema and Systema aftermarket replacement electronics. Earlier versions were......so heads up to all current CTW owners (MX2 etc)

This mini board says it is compatible with Celcius but I would be skeptical as Systema OEM boards as well as Airsoft Surgeon are NOT

skullz January 9th, 2012 22:09

rusty, are they not compatible because of the trigger length mentioned here?
http://www.ptwairsoft.com/user-progr...-ecu-368-p.asp

all im guessing you need to do is replace trigger for a shorter one

if not, can you please explain as im looking to swap my power unit on my mx2

So, you would ned a Gen 3 (2007) trigger? I'm sure there are tons of them around. I used to throw them out I had so many. But, maybe other guys did the same.

rustysniper January 10th, 2012 01:24

Has nothing to do with the trigger. X Max electronics were clones of the PTW but for some reason Celcius tried to make some changes centred around the rear switch device which affected the ECU and trigger for the MX2.
Other then the motor...if you want to go to PTW eketronics you need to swap out the 3 switch boards.....
