Defcon Paintball
 

Hey guys, there's a new paintball arena opening up close to my office near McNicoll and Victoria Park ave. in North York/Scarborough area, as I am not a game host I did not want to ask them about running airsoft events there, but for those who are, it might be worth it to ask them.

It would be really nice to run a game at an arena that hasn't seen alot of paintball use yet, anyways, here's their contact number - 416-849-8000

Ou cool, have you seen what's in the arena? Sandy? Buildings? etc.

I only called to find out about their website, I dont host games or anything so I didn't know how to approach them with the idea of airsoft so I never mentioned it.

Well from the picture on the site it looks like an old warehouse? I realize that this might not be the picture of the acctual place but wouldn't it be awesome if that's the ground? Sweet sweet solid ground...

The guys have sand going in this week. They are receptive to Airsoft and are trying to build a Senario style venue. The are doing things alittle differntly. They are Sponsored by HYPE Energy drink and will be attending Wakestock 08. let me know what you wanna know.

Just Talked to the field owner. Who wants to play in a clean, no paint space, out there. It'll be game ready a few days before the "grand opening" and he's invited the AS to come out and try it while its clean. Standard rates Like $20 a head. Any one out that way interested in Hosting?

That's ridiculously close to my parent's house (I regularly bike around there when I'm visiting), very tempting. It's very good to hear they are AS friendly. Depending on the day I may be able to head out to a game.

Just got off the phone to the field owner, he is very enthusiastic about the idea of getting some airsofters in before the grand opening. Thanks to Jeroon from Armyissue for setting that up for me :)

I will be going in most likely tomorrow to have a look at the place, discuss arrangements, etc. and I will keep you guys posted and hopefully have some pics as well.

Anyone interested in attending an event at Defcon Paintball during the 2nd week of August should post here so I can gauge interest.
